Join the troop for a backpacking campout to beautiful Lake Georgetown located near Austin. This campout is open to both experienced backpackers, as well as new scouts and adults looking to build their backpacking skills and test their gear. We will hike approximately 10 miles over two days. Scouts will be able to earn requirements for their Backpacking and Cooking merit badges. Scouts and adults must bring a proper pack and boots to the campout. Please refer to the backpacking gear list on the troop website.
