Description:  This annual prairie planting event is held on KPC’s Indiangrass Preserve. The event is open to the public and brings together hundreds of supporters and community members. The goal of this event is to enhance and maintain the restoration of the Indiangrass Preserve by planting native seedlings that have been grown in our Native Plant Nursery. This event has a strong education component as we strive to teach volunteers the value of land conservation by involving them in our on the ground restoration efforts. This event is an excellent opportunity for our community to invest in the deep roots that the prairie has in local culture, recreation, and the economic development of our region.
