Boy Scout Troop in Katy, Texas
Troop 230 leadership elections for Spring 2023 will be held at the troop meetings on both Monday, November 7th and Monday, November 14th. Please sign up for leadership positions that you would like to be considered for.

Scouts may sign up for more than one position.
*During the November 7th meeting, all Scouts running for a Patrol Leader position will have just a few minutes to discuss with their patrol why they want the position. The deadline to sign up is Monday, November 7th at 5:00 p.m. The sign up will be closed at that time and ballots will be generated with the names of all scouts signed up for each position.
*During the November 14th meeting (after OA elections), all Scouts running for any other elected positions will have just a few minutes to discuss with the troop why they want the position. The deadline to sign up is Sunday, November 13th at noon. The sign up will be closed at that time and ballots will be generated with the names of all scouts signed up for each position.
For patrol level positions, only the affected patrol will vote for their Patrol Leader.
Elected positions include:
Senior Patrol Leader (1 elected) Need to be NYLT trained
Asst Sr Patrol Leader (2 elected) Will be appointed by the new SPL from the SPL applicants. Need to be NYLT trained
Bobcats Patrol Leader (1 elected)
Ravens Patrol Leader (1 elected)
Sharks Patrol Leader (1 elected)
Stags Patrol Leader (1 elected)
Scribe (1 elected)
Chaplain’s Aide (1 elected)
Historian (1 elected)
Quartermaster (1 elected)
Troop Guide (2 elected) Need to be First Class
